As part of University of Michigan-Dearborn's 2011 Summer Smartphone App Project, weStudy is the product of a five month long project funded by various (appreciated) organizations. Cory Woolf and Brandon King dreamed up the social website after seeing some of the negative effects of having a mainly commuter based campus.

Since many students work while attending the university, it can be challenging to find others to study with on a regular (or sporadic) basis. weStudy is intended to help bridge that gap and allow for students to improve their grades by forming study groups that others can join. A virtual bulletin board for study groups, weStudy is much more streamlined than sites like MeetUp.com. Please feel free to contact Cory or Brandon with your recommendations or comments.
